Erddig in North Wales is considered one of Britain's finest country houses and is home to a rich collection of wallpaper. Some still adorn the walls of the state rooms, but many more were found as samples in the attic. In the early 20th century, they were collected by Philip and Louisa Yorke. The pattern from which the Tulip wallpaper is inspired, shows curved leaves and was unusual in its time. The different colour hues, that give life and depth to the leaves was a technical improvement earlier flat damask patterns.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply. The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
