The wallpaper shows the diverse flowers and leaves that form the habitat of the ladybird (Latin: coccinella). The motif shows a multi-coloured floral pattern in Jacobean style, printed on soft textile fabric.
Contrasting colours make the ladybirds on the wallpaper look like shining stars in the night sky. Some have a delicate pattern of circular dots on their wings, others have elegant stripes or ornate patterns reminiscent of tapestries. The poppies, which can also be seen, love the bright sunlight, which is also true of most ladybird species.

The Dutch design studio Moooi was founded in 2001 by Marcel Wanders and quickly made a name for itself with its innovative collections, which range from furniture to lighting fabrics and wallpaper to vases and other accessories.
