NLXL Mural Job on Fire - JOB-11
The panoramic wallpaper from Studio Job and designed by Job Smeets features an expressive pattern of dynamic flames in vibrant red and yellow tones.
The panoramic wallpaper is supplied in a set of several panels. Once one set has been applied, the wallpaper can be extended horizontally by applying another set.
The pattern is made from metallic foil, which is applied to a non-woven backing.
Job Smeets is a pioneer of contemporary conceptual and sculptural design. The results of his work range from unique bronze artworks in the Metropolitan Museum, New York, to a royal stamp featuring the Dutch King (40 million copies were produced), from the unique life-size bronze sculptures on Miami Beach to the one-of-a-kind Wunderkammer cabinet of curiosities that Studio Job produced for Swarovski in Innsbruck.
In 2014, wallpapers he designed in collaboration with NLXL were honoured with the New York ICFF Award and the Elle Decoration International Design Award. They were exhibited at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York and included in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
