The Studio Job collection contains wallpapers designed by Job Smeets for the Dutch wallpaper label NLXL.
Job Smeets is a pioneer of contemporary conceptual and sculptural design. The results of his work range from unique bronze artworks in the Metropolitan Museum, New York, to a royal stamp with the Dutch King (40 million copies were produced), from the unique life-size bronze sculptures on Miami Beach to the unique Wunderkammer cabinet of curiosities that Studio Job produced for Swarovski in Innsbruck.
In 2014, wallpapers he designed in collaboration with NLXL were honoured with the New York ICFF Award and the Elle Decoration International Design Award. They were exhibited at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York and included in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
