The Transylvanian Roots wallpaper collection by MINDTHEGAP is a visual tribute to the rich folk art tradition and textile history of the region where the innovative design label is based. Transylvania has been a melting pot of peoples, cultures, traditions and religions for centuries. Nobles and villagers alike grew fruit and vegetables, picked flowers or hunted game, together with their faithful dogs. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the inhabitants of Transylvania are united to this day by their attachment to nature and their love of the rich landscape around them. The collection makes successful room concepts very simple. In addition to striking statement motifs in bright colours, Transylvanian Roots contains more softly coloured wallpapers coordinated with them, which can be used as a complementary motif for the other walls of the room, for example.
