Exterior Masonry is Farrow & Ball’s paint for façades. It combines the look of historic British country houses and townhouses with modern polymer technology. With a matt finish of just 2% gloss, a natural mineral appearance and the exceptional colour depth typical of Farrow & Ball, Exterior Masonry gives buildings a quintessentially English look. The formula combines water-repellent properties with high breathability. This synergistic effect provides long-lasting protection for the building fabric against moisture damage and guarantees a flawless finish that will last for many years.
The special features of Exterior Masonry

Applications
Exterior Masonry is a premium-class, water-based façade paint designed for all mineral substrates in external applications. It is particularly recommended for use on brickwork, render, concrete and stone. Thanks to its excellent adhesion, it can also be applied without any problems to previously painted, sound surfaces.
As well as for full-surface façade finishes, this paint is suitable for garden walls or plinth areas. It is the ideal solution for projects where a natural, matt finish is important.
Application
A clean, dry and sound substrate is essential for a perfect finish. For highly absorbent or sandy surfaces, it is necessary to prime beforehand with Farrow & Ball’s Masonry & Plaster Stabilising Primer.
To achieve the desired English look, the paint must be applied in two coats using a façade roller, brush or airless spray. Allow a drying time of at least 4 hours between coats. Thanks to its high opacity and a coverage of up to 8 m² per litre per coat, even large-scale façade projects can be carried out efficiently and cost-effectively.
