Paint & Paper Library's Universal Primer
Architects’ All Surface Primer (A.S.P.) is formulated to complement the paints and varnishes from Paint & Paper Library and ensures an optimal bond between the substrate and the topcoat, both indoors and outdoors. Whether on smooth surfaces or absorbent materials, this primer creates a robust, even base for all subsequent coats. It also ensures that Paint & Paper Library’s highly pigmented varnishes and emulsion paints reveal their full colour depth.
The special features of Architects’ All Surface Primer
- Low gloss level (5–8 %)
- Reliable adhesion to walls and ceilings, wood, plastic, glass, tiles, metal and concrete
- Healthy living: minimal VOC content (< 1%)
- Coverage: approx. 13 m² per litre per coat (depending on the surface)
- Base: Water-based
Expert tip
On smooth surfaces such as tiles or glass, a light sanding is recommended to aid the primer’s mechanical adhesion. This ensures the top coat will last for a long time.
