Putti 292 - The baroque manor house Calke Abbey in Derbyshire was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1985 after 12 generations of ownership by the family of Baronet Henry Harpur. The dining room, in which this delicate green was used for the putti (children\'s figures), was designed in the early 19th century. Unlike much of the estate, which the National Trust received in derelict status, this room has been restored to its original neoclassical design and offers a tantalising glimpse of the house\'s former glory.
