Product information "Absolute Matt Emulsion - Book Room Green 322 - 10l"

Book Room Green 322 - The
Book Room in Wimpole Hall was built around the
turn of the century by the neoclassical architect John
Soane. Driven by the owner's enthusiasm
the owner's enthusiasm for architecture, the room was
doubled in size . This neutral green colour served as a subtle
contrast to the fine white plaster and the shelves with
the thousands of deep red book spines . The property
was later purchased by Captain George Bambridge and
his wife Elsie, the daughter of Rudyard Kipling,
. With Kipling's bequest and his own
royalties were used to pay for the renovation of the house,
before it was handed over to the National Trust in 1976.

Little Greene Absolute Matt Emulsion is a very matt emulsion paint for walls and ceilings. Its special effect is created by intense pigmentation and the high quality of the ingredients used. The paint is suitable for bedrooms, children's rooms, living rooms or offices where a classic, matt finish is desired. It creates a typical English look.

Absolute Matt Emulsion is very smooth to apply thanks to a high-quality binder. When applied with a roller, there are hardly any roller marks visible.

  • 3 % gloss level (very matt)
  • Environmentally friendly, water-based and certified for use in children's rooms (Toy Paint Regulations BS EN71-3:2013)
