Absolute Matt Emulsion is Little Greene’s iconic finish and represents the mattest option in the entire range. With a minimal gloss level of just 1–2 per cent, it creates a velvety-soft, chalky finish that renders colours with perfect depth and tranquillity. With no light reflection, it ensures a completely uniform appearance throughout the room. Despite its matt finish, surfaces painted with Absolute Matt Emulsion are wipeable. The high pigment content gives rooms that classic English look.

Applications

Absolute Matt Emulsion has been specifically developed for walls, ceilings, plaster and smooth non-woven wallpaper in interior spaces. This finish is the ideal choice for rooms where the colour effect and a calm atmosphere are the main priorities. In bedrooms, living rooms, libraries or studies, it creates an impressive sense of depth on walls and ceilings.

For high-traffic areas such as hallways or stairwells, where there is greater mechanical wear and tear, Intelligent Matt Emulsion is the ideal choice.

Application

The paint is characterised by minimal dripping and excellent flow, which minimises the formation of roller marks.

For a perfect finish, it must be applied in two coats using a high-quality synthetic paint roller or a brush with synthetic bristles.

The surface to be painted must be clean, dry and free from grease. To ensure optimum adhesion and maximum colour depth, the substrate must be prepared with the appropriate Little Greene primer. This ensures uniform absorption and guarantees the durability of the finish.

  • Coverage: Approx. 14 m² per litre per coat (depending on the substrate)
  • Drying time: Dust-dry after approx. 1–2 hours
