The wallpaper shows a detailed, idyllic landscape scene with fine lines. Mighty trees, tranquil riverbanks, grazing animals and flying birds are evenly distributed across a light-coloured background. A village with a church tower can be recognised in the background, embedded in wide fields and rolling hills.
The pattern in the Toile de Jouy style was designed by Andrew Davidson, a contemporary wood engraver, for Lewis & Wood. Among other things, Davidson designed stamps for the British postal service.
Thanks to the particularly wide wallpaper panels, the expressive composition can unfold its full effect in the room.

The wallpaper has a width of 1.32 m and is applied using a double cut technique. The double cut ensures that the seams of the wallpaper panels fit together so perfectly that no transition is visible. We recommend having the wallpaper applied by a professional.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
