Whilst the classic Estate Emulsion is designed to provide the mattest possible finish for living spaces, Modern Emulsion has been specifically developed for high-traffic areas.
- Interior walls and ceilings
- Kitchens and bathrooms: Withstands steam and occasional splashes
- Hallways, stairwells and children’s bedrooms: Withstands mechanical wear and tear; dirt can be wiped off with a damp cloth without causing unwanted ‘gloss build-up’.
Application
This emulsion paint is characterised by minimal dripping and excellent flow, which minimises the formation of roller marks.
For a perfect finish, it must be applied in two coats using a high-quality synthetic paint roller or a brush with synthetic bristles.
To ensure optimum adhesion and maximum colour depth, it is essential to prepare the surface with the appropriate Farrow & Ball primer. This ensures even absorption and guarantees the durability of the finish.

- Coverage: Approx. 12 m² per litre per coat (depending on the surface)
- Drying time: Dust-dry after approx. 2 hours
- Recoatable: After approx. 4 hours
