Pure Flat Emulsion is Paint & Paper Library’s most distinctive wall and ceiling paint. With its very low gloss level of just 2 per cent, it creates a matt, powdery, chalky finish that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. Thanks to its exceptionally high pigment density, it achieves tremendous colour depth, lending rooms a luxurious and tranquil, quintessentially English atmosphere. Pure Flat Emulsion has a slightly more velvety finish than Paint & Paper Library’s Architects’ Matt – but is also more sensitive to mechanical wear and tear. For rooms with normal wear and tear, where a distinctly English feel is desired, Pure Flat Emulsion is the first choice.
The special features of Pure Flat Emulsion

Areas of application
Pure Flat Emulsion has been specially developed for walls, ceilings, plaster and smooth non-woven wallpaper in interior applications. This finish is the ideal choice for rooms where the walls are not subject to heavy mechanical wear and where the focus is on the colour effect.
Application
This emulsion paint is characterised by minimal dripping and excellent flow, which minimises the formation of roller marks.
For a perfect finish, the paint must be applied in two coats using a high-quality synthetic paint roller or a brush with synthetic bristles.
To ensure optimum adhesion and maximum colour depth, it is essential to prepare the surface using Architects’ All Surface Primer (ASP) from Paint & Paper Library. This ensures even absorption and guarantees the durability of the finish.
